Arrange a driver-operated refrigerated vehicle for collections on the West Rand and deliveries along your confirmed route. Fridge Truck Rentals operates from Roodepoort, with bakkies and trucks for chilled, frozen and suitable ambient loads. Driver and fuel are included.
Start with the collection location and load size, then add every delivery address. The full route and vehicle access are checked before booking.
Plan collections across the West Rand
Our more detailed area guides cover Roodepoort, Ruimsig and Robertville. Choose the guide closest to your loading point for advice about preparing the address, cargo and receiving arrangements.
A suburb name alone does not identify the collection point. Include the street number, business or property name, correct entrance and loading area. If goods are collected from several suppliers, enter each collection as an additional stop instead of treating them as one pickup.
Combine collection points and delivery stops
For a route starting on the West Rand, list the complete sequence of pickups and drops. Include the time goods will be ready, the quantity loaded at each pickup and the receiving window at each destination. The vehicle needs enough capacity for the largest combined load carried during the route.
Tell us if any stop requires a booking reference, forklift access, a loading bay or additional time for paperwork. These details help the team assess the operating schedule.
Choose the vehicle and temperature
- 1-ton refrigerated bakkie — up to 950 kg.
- 4-ton refrigerated truck — up to 3,500 kg.
- 8-ton refrigerated truck — up to 7,500 kg.
- 28-ton refrigerated triaxle — up to 28,000 kg, subject to route and site access.
Choose chilled goods transport or frozen food transport to match your product requirements. For suitable non-food products such as boxed nuts, bolts and spare parts, request closed truck hire for general goods with refrigeration switched off.
Regular West Rand delivery runs
If you have repeat supplier collections or weekly stock deliveries, send the entire week’s route and anticipated load changes. This is useful when the same vehicle serves several sites on different days.
For a repeating route, see our scheduled and recurring refrigerated deliveries in Johannesburg and Gauteng. Include the required weekdays, each delivery stop and your maximum load when requesting a schedule quotation.
