Book a refrigerated bakkie or truck for collections in Roodepoort, with a professional driver and fuel included. Fridge Truck Rentals operates from Roodepoort and arranges dedicated vehicles for loads collected here and delivered along your agreed route.
Use the route estimate below for a single load, or request a schedule quotation when you need repeat collections or consecutive-day hire.
Choose a loading point in Roodepoort
Give the full street address and the actual place where the vehicle will load. For a business site, include the company name, unit or loading-bay number and access instructions. For a property collection, describe the entrance and where the vehicle can stand while loading.
Let us know who will have the goods ready, who handles loading and whether equipment such as a forklift is available. The cargo weight and packaged dimensions help establish whether a bakkie or larger truck is appropriate.
Small deliveries and larger commercial loads
A 1-ton bakkie can suit a smaller approved load; larger carton or pallet quantities may need a 4-ton, 8-ton or 28-ton vehicle. Select using the actual loaded weight, then provide dimensions so the available load space can be assessed.
- 1-ton refrigerated bakkie — up to 950 kg.
- 4-ton refrigerated truck — up to 3,500 kg.
- 8-ton refrigerated truck — up to 7,500 kg.
- 28-ton refrigerated triaxle — up to 28,000 kg, subject to route and site access.
Chilled, frozen and ordinary goods
Choose chilled goods transport or frozen food transport to match your product requirements. For suitable non-food products such as boxed nuts, bolts and spare parts, request closed truck hire for general goods with refrigeration switched off.
For an ordinary-goods collection, tell us whether the load consists of loose cartons, packaged components or pallets. An enclosed vehicle can protect suitable cargo during the journey without operating the refrigeration.
Roodepoort routes to several destinations
Enter additional delivery stops in route order and include any receiving-time limits. If you collect from one Roodepoort address and supply the same customers each week, send the expected days, stop list and maximum cargo weight.
For a repeating route, see our scheduled and recurring refrigerated deliveries in Johannesburg and Gauteng. Include the required weekdays, each delivery stop and your maximum load when requesting a schedule quotation.
