Book dedicated refrigerated truck hire for a collection in Sandton or a delivery route serving Sandton businesses. Each hire includes a professional driver and fuel. Choose a vehicle for chilled or frozen products, or suitable ordinary goods carried in an enclosed vehicle without active refrigeration.
Give the complete collection and delivery addresses. A business name or the word Sandton alone is not enough to identify the loading or receiving point.
Plan the receiving point and access
For a shop, restaurant, office or other commercial destination, confirm the receiving entrance and loading area. Include the building or centre name, tenant or unit number and a delivery reference if required.
Tell us about booked receiving times, security procedures, bay height limits, truck access and waiting arrangements. Use the receiving or loading address rather than a customer entrance when the site has separate access.
Choose the right vehicle for the load
- 1-ton refrigerated bakkie — up to 950 kg.
- 4-ton refrigerated truck — up to 3,500 kg.
- 8-ton refrigerated truck — up to 7,500 kg.
- 28-ton refrigerated triaxle — up to 28,000 kg, subject to route and site access.
Check the packed dimensions and loaded height alongside the weight. Where access limits the truck size, provide those limits before booking so vehicle suitability can be reviewed.
Deliveries to several Sandton stops
Enter each delivery address in the route sequence and give the cargo quantity and receiving window for each stop. Tell us if the load is collected at a Johannesburg supplier and delivered to several Sandton businesses, or collected in Sandton for delivery elsewhere on the agreed route.
For store replenishment, our retail and chain-store delivery page explains the route information to include. For regular drops, send the required weekdays and maximum load for each day.
For a repeating route, see our scheduled and recurring refrigerated deliveries in Johannesburg and Gauteng. Include the required weekdays, each delivery stop and your maximum load when requesting a schedule quotation.
Temperature-controlled and general goods
Choose chilled goods transport or frozen food transport to match your product requirements. For suitable non-food products such as boxed nuts, bolts and spare parts, request closed truck hire for general goods with refrigeration switched off.
Confirm the product’s required temperature when requesting the estimate. If the load consists of suitable boxed hardware, parts or retail stock, Ambient is the calculator option for operation without active chilling or freezing.
