Arrange a dedicated refrigerated vehicle for a collection in Ruimsig. Choose a bakkie or truck to match your goods, with driver and fuel included. The service can accommodate chilled or frozen products and suitable general goods carried with refrigeration switched off.
For a Ruimsig pickup, provide the exact loading address and delivery route so the team can review vehicle access and availability.
Prepare access for a smaller collection
When goods are at a shop, home, estate or other property, use the entrance the vehicle should actually approach. Include the business or property name, unit number and any security or collection reference required for entry.
Tell us about narrow entrances, limited turning space, slopes or height restrictions before choosing a larger truck. A smaller load does not need a large vehicle, but the vehicle still needs suitable access to the agreed loading point.
Describe the goods before booking
Give the total weight and dimensions of the packed load, including the number of cartons or pallets. For food or other temperature-sensitive products, specify the required temperature. Have the goods ready at the collection time and tell us who will load them.
Suitable ordinary loads may include boxed hardware, spare parts, clothing or packaged retail products. Select Ambient when active chilling or freezing is not required.
Choose chilled goods transport or frozen food transport to match your product requirements. For suitable non-food products such as boxed nuts, bolts and spare parts, request closed truck hire for general goods with refrigeration switched off.
Vehicle options for a Ruimsig load
- 1-ton refrigerated bakkie — up to 950 kg.
- 4-ton refrigerated truck — up to 3,500 kg.
- 8-ton refrigerated truck — up to 7,500 kg.
- 28-ton refrigerated triaxle — up to 28,000 kg, subject to route and site access.
Weight alone does not confirm the fit. Include the longest item, pallet height and any equipment needed to move the cargo into the vehicle.
Repeat collections and delivery windows
For a recurring Ruimsig route, list the weekdays, collection window and receiving times at each destination. If the goods are prepared by a supplier, include the supplier’s loading contact and readiness time in the enquiry.
For a repeating route, see our scheduled and recurring refrigerated deliveries in Johannesburg and Gauteng. Include the required weekdays, each delivery stop and your maximum load when requesting a schedule quotation.
